I've decided to chronicle my first attempt at creating a short film using 8mm stock. I will detail my quest for the correct equipment (all second hand since it is no longer manufactured) and my experiments involving do-it-yourself film to tape transfer (or just sending it out). I'll focus on technical aspects and stay away from the more creative one (better for my process). Hopefully you will find it as interesting as I do...
